Daemon Hunt, 24, joins the Blue Jackets after spending the past three seasons with the Wild. The young blueliner has shown flashes of offensive potential, recording 13 points in 56 games this season. In addition to Hunt, the Blue Jackets received a 2023 second-round pick and a 2024 fourth-round pick from the Wild. These picks will provide Columbus with flexibility in future drafts and help replenish their prospect pool.
