Gophers Football Has Taken Max Brosmer And His Parents For A Wild Ride, With Camp Randall Next

Max Brosmer is a true freshman wide receiver for the Gophers football team. The 6-foot-4, 205-pounder from Lakeville, Minnesota, has quickly become one of the most talked about players on the team. But it’s not just his on-field performance that’s turning heads. It’s his story off the field.

A Family Affair

Max Brosmer’s parents, Mark and Melissa, are both ardent sports fans. Mark played college football at the University of St. Thomas, and Melissa was a standout volleyball player at Lakeville North High School. So it’s no surprise that their son would grow up to be a talented athlete.

But what is surprising is the way that Max’s parents have been involved in his football career. Max often credits his parents with helping him to become the player he is today.

“My parents have always been there for me, both on and off the field,” Max said. “They’ve always been my biggest supporters, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without them.”

Mark Brosmer, in particular, has played a major role in Max’s development as a football player. Mark is a former high school football coach and was Max’s coach for several years.

“I’ve always thought that Max had the potential to be a great football player,” Mark said. “And I’ve just tried to do my best to help him reach his full potential .”

The Gopher Experience

Max Brosmer committed to the Gophers in February 2023. He was one of the most ballyhooed recruits in the class.

Brosmer has made an immediate impact on the Gophers. He has started all six games this season and leads the team in receiving yards (354) and touchdowns (4).

Brosmer’s success has been a major part of the Gophers’ 4-2 start to the season. The Gophers are currently ranked No. 20 in the AP Poll.

A Bright Future

Max Brosmer is just getting started in his college career. But he has already shown that he has the potential to be a special player.

With his parents by his side, Brosmer is sure to achieve great things.

Up Next: Camp Randall

The Gophers will travel to Camp Randall Stadium to take on the Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday, October 29. The game will be a major test for the Gophers, but Brosmer is confident that his team is ready for the challenge.
