Dolphins’ Calais Campbell Plans To Ride ‘until The Wheels Fall Off’

Miami Dolphins defensive end Calais Campbell is entering his 15th NFL season, but he shows no signs of slowing down. In a recent interview, Campbell said he plans to play “until the wheels fall off.”

A Storied Career

Campbell, 36, is a five-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro selection. He has recorded 95.5 career sacks, which ranks 33rd all-time. Campbell has also been a vocal leader on and off the field, earning the respect of his teammates and coaches.

‘I’m Not Ready To Be Done’

Despite his age, Campbell says he is still feeling strong and motivated. “I’m not ready to be done,” he said. “I still feel like I can play at a high level.”

Campbell’s teammates and coaches share his belief. Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said, “Calais is a rare breed. He’s a guy who has been playing at a high level for a long time, and he’s still going strong.”

“I’m just focused on playing football right now,” Campbell said. “I’ll let the rest take care of itself.”
